We are a unique and exciting NC/SC equipment sales company that is looking for an outgoing, organized, self-motivating technical salesperson with experience in HVAC, Electrical or IT equipment sales.
Focus Areas:
Data Center/Mission Critical
Industrial/Process Air & Power Conditioning
Educational/Institutional Air & Power Conditioning
Responsibilities include:
Creating and maintaining relationships with end users, engineers and contractors
Cold calling IS required
Warm calling IS required
Maintaining established client relationships through continued site visits, phone and email contact IS required
Public Speaking (up to large groups of 10-15) IS required
Project Management/Coordinating many aspects of each project you are involved in:
(1)Provide product information to engineers during project design phase
(2)Coordinate work with all parties during build phase
(3)Ensure all 'loose ends' are tied up for a successful project completion
(4)Maintain a high level of communication with all parties!

Requirements:
Technical sales experience, Mechanical/HVAC or Electrical equipment experience.
Self-Motivating candidates should have an extremely high drive for success

Multi-tasking ability IS essential
2 or 4 year degree is desired
Travel is required (daily travel to visit clients, occasional overnight travel)
Ability to quickly learn technical details, features and benefits of HVAC, Electrical and IT equipment and effectively communicate the information to clients

You must be a "people person" who is willing to cultivate long term relationships with our clients through a combination of face time, phone calls and emails.
Our sales cycle is a mix of short term "Need To Buy Now!" and long term development with clients and their design teams. Someone who knows what it means to invest their time to reap exponential rewards will do well on our team. We expect a commitment from you, and in return we will commit to a long term position where you truly are part of the team and have nearly unlimited earning potential. Your typical day would consist of meeting with prospects to introduce yourself and the product line, meeting with existing customers to catch up, and cold calling to find new leads. When you are back in your home office, entering the information into a database so you can track your work.
